✨ The Classic Fishtail Loom
Perfect for beginners! The fishtail is a staple in loom band making because it's easy to learn but looks incredibly intricate.
- Step 1: Take your first band, twist it into a figure '8', and place it over two pegs on your loom.
- Step 2: Place two more bands normally (no twist) on top of the first one.
- Step 3: Using your hook, pull the bottom '8' band up and over the top of the pegs on both sides.
- Step 4: Add one new band on top, and repeat Step 3. Keep going until it fits your wrist!
✨ The Beaded Daisy Chain
Spring vibes all year round! This technique uses seed beads to create little flower shapes along your string.
- Step 1: Thread 4 "petal" beads (like white or pink) onto your string.
- Step 2: Thread 1 "center" bead (like yellow) onto the string.
- Step 3: Pass your needle back through the very first petal bead you threaded to form a half-circle.
- Step 4: Add 2 more petal beads, and pass the needle through the 4th bead to complete the flower!
